Build Analysis
Firefly Super Break vs Classic CRIT Carry 2026
Firefly scales with Break Effect and Speed, dealing DEF-ignoring Super Break damage instead of CRIT hits. A classic CRIT carry (Jingliu) scales with CRIT DMG and ATK. Break teams dominate AoE/Pure Fiction; CRIT teams dominate tight single-target bursts. The right pick depends on the content.
Firefly Super Break vs Classic CRIT Hypercarry (Jingliu)
Firefly Super Break
Team: Firefly + Ruan Mei + Fugue + Gallagher
Exploit Weakness Breaks, stack Break Effect, and detonate Super Break during Firefly's buffed window for massive AoE damage that ignores DEF.
Pros:
- DEF-ignoring damage shreds bosses
- Best-in-class AoE and Pure Fiction
- Runs on Break Effect, not rare CRIT relics
Cons:
- Needs a whole Break-specific core
- Weak until Break Effect is high
- Poor into enemies immune to Fire break
Rotation: Implant Fire weakness -> Ultimate (Complete Combustion) -> Enhanced Skill spam -> refresh breaks
Classic CRIT Hypercarry (Jingliu)
Team: Jingliu + Bronya + Fu Xuan
Stack CRIT Rate/CRIT DMG/ATK and dump buffed-state Basics on a single target for a tight burst window.
Pros:
- Highest single-target burst ceiling
- Flexible supports (any Harmony + sustain)
- Rewards traditional CRIT relics
Cons:
- Damage is DEF-weighted, not DEF-ignoring
- Wants a premium support core
- Less AoE reach than Break teams
Rotation: Bronya advance -> Jingliu buffed Skills -> Ultimate -> refill
Verdict
Own both archetypes if you can. Default to Firefly for AoE/Pure Fiction and Jingliu for single-target burst. If you must choose, the Break core clears more endgame modes in 2026.
